Alexa Update

When does Alexa update its rankings. Is it monthly update ,weekly or annually,got any information ?

Not really sure about the algorithm they use. I have seen Blogs with Alexa Rankings updating daily

I use to check it often and they use to update the daily traffic parts of the stats on a daily basis to every 2 days. The 3 months section, they update that every few weeks or something. But they keep on updating the ranking as soon as possible.
