PHPMyAdmin or a .sql dump MySQL restoration ?

What is the best way to restore a MySQL database ?
>> restoring the .sql dump on server or using import wizard function offered in PHPMyAdmin ?
Personally i have never used any of above method cause i had used cPanel backup restore wizard in past since the databases were small in sizes.

PHPMyAdmin has a limit of 2Mb for the .SQL files to be restored. Restoring the same from SSH doesn't have such restrictions, hence considered better for an experienced admin
