Hi all,
Sorry if posted in the wrong section.
I have a problem with a vidiscript install, which regards the image/video comments part of the site.
The problem being that comments made on image/video A, also show up on image/video B (C,D etc), and this happens site wide not just on a few images etc.
Has anyone else had this problem and found a way to solve it?
I have looked on the official vidiscript forum but it seems to be very quiet there at the moment, althogh there have been a few posts on this subject, the main result they mention is setting the register globals to ON, although this is something i would like to avoid if possible as I also have an eCommerce store and don't want to compromise its security by allowing this.
Here is a related thread re the globals in the vidiscript forum [v1.0.1 PENDING] Comments errors - VidiScript Forums
I have also noted that i have 2 .htaccess files (looked after reading that post) and they are in the web root, and another in the vidiscript folder, so which .htaccess would i edit? Also as a complete newbie, could someone show me how it should look with the added/edited lines mentioned?
Many thanks for your help once again
Russell
