                And not forgetting Sergei Korolev who was the mastermind behind Sputnik. IT is strange these days to think that he is relatively unknown, and yet his US counterpart, a Nazi, is famous the world over.

                      I think so Kev, although who can say. I think he was so far ahead of the USA even though he was using the technology of the V2's long range delivery system, but all that time he spent in prison makes you wonder.

                        Although if he hadn't of been in prison he may have been drafted into the war and not survived - although that probably wasn't much of a comfort in the gulag.
