Ans: If you wish to cancel the domain name, don’t pay for domain renewal fee. A domain name does not get cancelled but has an expiry time. Ones the expiry time is over, you no longer own the domain name and the domain name is back in the pool of new domains for fresh registration.

Ans: You can change the domain name on your account at any time you desire; however, you would need to pay the registration fees to register that new domain name. The domain you originally purchased cannot be refunded and cannot be changed for a different domain; a new domain must be registered.
