Reseller Hosting Business !!!

Firstly, I am not server admin nor don't have good server management skills but still want to get into reseller hosting business.
I know a smaller reseller hosting plans would be a good start but still would like to know my other options !!

One of the best things that you can do is team up with someone else, one thing that does get really painful, is trying to do it all yourself, and giving support for it. By going in with someone else, you can share the workload.

Thanks Hexo for your honest suggestions. Yes, it's very correct to have someone who can share the workload, webhosting reseller business can be a pain if not handled properly with prompt service !!!

I initially started doing reselling due to friends wanting sites hosted for them, I had the space so didn't see a problem, but then after the, well why's this not happening, and will this not work, I decided that if I was going to support them as well, I may as well look at hosting it properly - though I pretty much did jump in feet first and was out of my depth initially. It helps to have people on board that are enthusiastic about what you are doing, and what you believe you want to achieve from it, as there are far too many fly by night operations because people get into it for all the wrong reasons - it's not an easy way to make a quick buck - it requires hard work, determination, and above all else time.

That's true Hexo.... Managing a Webhosting business is not a kiddy job now !
You have to face extreme competition and have to gain trust of your clients by providing then excellent website hosting services, support & uptime !!

Hard work is definitely required if you are reselling hosting services or you are an Affiliate of a hosting company. The most important factor is effective marketing of your business on the internet as this will determine your online success.

Good morning,

There is something that does confuse me about the affiliate scheme here, that is there are two of them!

I signed up to what is now referred to as the "Old Affiliates" on the Portal Home page (the page I get after logging in), it is next to an option for "Affiliates".

I'm not terribly bothered at the moment as I don't have the traffic to generate any sign-ups, but it would be helpful if you could either unify the schemes or point to a page explaining the difference.

However I can understand that this is not a terribly high priority task.

I really agree with u Pongers, i also like to do reselling hosting services online, you told its hard work so i wanna do hard work in this field. Reselling hosting services is intresting and earn more money i also feel it, so thanks for that you suggest me this topic.
