Difference between URL's starting with and without www

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between an url starting with www and without www? If I don't type www while typing the domain name in the browser, will I be still redirected to the same website? And does the same apply for websites without www?

WWW stands for the World Wide Web is root for the all websites on the internet and prefix can be used or can be skipped.
More or less these days it is useful for SEO rating and to meet standards.

Domain can be accessible with or without WWW as well there is no such restriction for usage of prefix.
you can set the redirection of the domain, when it is accessed can redirect to www

for this a line of code can be added in configuration file under account.

The quick answer to this question is that there is no difference between the two addresses . However, leaving “www” off of some websites can result in the browser being unable to find the site. This problem is correctable by the domain holder.
