FTP Uploading problem

For some reason, recently I have been update to upload (via FTP) any files. I've tried various programs, but they all refuse to connect.

CuteFTP states that the host validation has failed, WebPlus states there was an error getting the working directory and Internet Explorer and FileZilla refuse to connect too...

I've tried disabling firewalls in Windows (tried Windows 2000, XP and 7) and the router, but to no avail.

The only thing I can think of is that access is blocked for some reason - I should have plenty of space available (Cpanel states that I'm using 0.02 of 500Mb, although I have 300Mb there)

Hello,

While checking the server logs , found that your IP was blocked in server firewall due to incorrect FTP login attempts. Make sure that you are using correct login details.

I've now unblocked the IP , try to connect once again.
