Windows vs Linux hosting

Which one do you prefer, windows or linux hosting? Which one is more secure? Which one is more stable? What is the difference between the two? Which one is easier to use? If you were to choose between the two which one of them would you choose?

I like windows the most.Because Linux is not fully compatible with some Microsoft technologies so if you are using Access, ASP, MS SQL, or VB development tools then Windows would be a better bet.

I prefer linux website hosting account for majority of the reason, as those are going to be one of the most appropriate hosting service for any of the website owner as its on of the open source system where he don't have to worry about the licensing for any reason.
