if you’re going to use WordPress.com note again,you may be in trouble. The point of writing this they don’t allow you to monetize your blog.They do allow some of their bigger blogs to run advertising and affiliate programs but not smaller blogs. If your goal is to make money, don’t choose WP.com. They say they may allow this in the future, but there are no guarantees and you should probably consider another option.

I will advice to have hosted blog rather then using FREE blogging services which are not very impressive and have limitations compared to Paid Hosted Blogs !

I would say that wordpress is a good choice to start blogging because it can be hosted by best host in the market today. It is also best for newbie.
