is there any way you can distinguish resellers from natural hosts? I was reading up on Private Nameservers and wondered if there are any tell tale signs of a reseller?

Go to whois and see if the domain is registered to Wild West Domains. According to this blog answer, they are an arm of GoDaddy.

If you dig deep who is, you will come to know whether a web host is a reseller or owning its own servers.

For me, it doesn't shows if that person is a reseller or natural, may be its because he had a personality that is not the same with others. Thus, making you noticeable even we just sit in a corner
