Free or paid hosting?

Just curious, at the first time you published your own website, did you host it on a free hosting server or did you go for paid hosting service right way?

I went for paid hosting.

Free hosting has too many pitfalls like not necessarily having full access to all the things you want like FTP or databases or web stats. Also, to make it free, you have to put up with ads being injected in to your site. That's something I didn't fancy. If there were ads, I wanted to be the one taking the money. Even a couple of google ads will often bring in enough money to cover a cheap basic hosting deal so even though you're paying for the hosting, you're effectively getting it free anyway.

I started with a blogspot, just a personal start-up to share our family memories & happenings but when it comes for a business websites we should consider a reliable webhost offering paid hosting services and guaranteed uptime.

I would like to go with paid web hosting because search engine frequently neglet free hosting sites. This is the HUGE DISADVANTAG of free hosting.

my web hosting services is paid one ..
Recently i got the web hosting services by getting software in this site
Its provide hosting service at reasonable cost ..

Free web host has many disadvantages than benefits. No security, no or poor support and above all when you promote site sufficiently, sub-domain can be taken away from you even though for no reasons because you got the service free of cost and agreed that you will be having no objection tomorrow if service stops.

I never recommend for any free web host.

It is an online risk, wastage of time, efforts and money.

Beware my friend please.
