Adding Dedicated IP for addon domain

I want to know how to add dedicated IP for an addon domain.
I have cPanel hosting account, hosting experts please let me know the procedure for the same !

Hello,

You can not assign dedicated ip address to addon domain by using cpanel. For this we need to manually edit virtual entry in Apache conf file.

Hello Pongers,

If you wish to have a Dedicated IP address for your addon domain, you can contact our billing dept. and order a Dedicated IP address. Our billing dept. will generate an invoice for the dedicated IP address and as soon as the invoice is paid, our Technical support dept. will assign a dedicated IP address for your addon domain as soon as possible.

Thanks for update... that mean i have to order extra dedicated IP and will have to ask tech support staff to bind it for my addon domain. I will ask for help once i have decided to use it.... Cheers !

If you already have a dedicated IP address which has been provided to you with the hosting plan or server, you can contact our Technical support dept. to assign that particular IP address to your addon domain. However, if you do not have a dedicated IP address but wish to assign one to your addon domain, you need to order a dedicated IP address.
