Few questions about shared web hosting

Just wanted to know about the shared hosting features offered in shared web hosting:

If I opt for shared hosting package do I get Telnet or SSH access? Do the hosting companies offer any backup policies? Will I get a static IP address free or does the provider charges extra for this? Does the shared hosting providers offers anonymous ftp access to their clients?

Generally, hosting providers do not offer Telnet or SSH access with the Shared hosting plans due to security reasons. However, you will find some hosting providers who offer Jailed Shell SSH access with shared hosting plans.

Most of the hosting providers take weekly or monthly backups for servers, however, if you need backups, it is better to consider a backup plan and configure backups as per your requirements.

Nope, static IP's aren't provided for free with shared hosting plans, however, if you pay for static IP address, you can get it

Currently, I have a free wordpress blog having around 2000 visitors per day. Can I consider the shared hosting package for it?
