Default Shared hosting using FreeParking domains

Hi
Just a couple of questions please to make sure I have this right.

I intend to host several web sites using the Windows Shared Hosting Starter package initially. All the domains are already registered at FreeParking.

1. I need to use the Freeparking control panel to alter the web server IP address to one which you will provide?
2. I don't need to pay extra £20 for fixed IP just for basic web site access?
3. I then need to ftp my web site "stuff" to your servers using an address you would provide?

Hopefully that's YES/YES/YES

4. If I host several (<6) domains in this way how is that achieved? ie what do I do differently for each, in the same web hosting package, and is each hosted domain's website separate eg someone browsing a site say selling eggs can't see anything of one selling sausages

Many thanks in advance.
Dave

Hi,

1. You will be assigned a nameserver / IP address. These are different on each server so I cannot give you an exact IP address until you signup and check in the welcome email.

2. You can use a shared IP if you wish, unless you want your own IP address which in that case it would cost you £20.

3. That is correct, you can use FTP to upload your website items.

I hope this has answered all of your questions

Hi,

Apologies. I didn't see question 4 as it was separate from the others

4. On Windows shared starter, you are allowed 5 domains on this package. You create a folder within your account called sausages and point sausages.com to this director, you create another folder called eggs and point chicken eggs deviled hard boiled at eggs.com to the eggs directory and so on.
