Green Web Hosting.

As we all are aware, Green web hosting or Eco-friendly web hosting is the most recent addition to the sector of web hosting.Green Web Hosting basically means, the self-generation of energy for powering the data centers without disturbing the balance of the environment.

Almost 4% of the total energy consumed all over the world is utilized by datacenters.

I would like to read your views and opinions about Green Hosting.It would be much appreciated if you can suggest some alternatives for natural energy production.

Funnily I was just reading the following..

But Green Hosting seems somewhat overrated. Companies are using it as a marketing point rather than an economic point.

Yes that was shocking. I read a similar article on the ITworld magazine, please refer : itworld.com/green-it/66437/spam-e-mails-killing-environment-mcafee-report-says

I strongly believe that we should find some alternative methods of producing energy naturally.
