What kind of firewalls/security could you have on a dedicated server? I want it to be secured to the max!

Generally people shift or choose dedicated to utilize extreme security measures, dedicated server performance/Monitoring and uptime, which are already being included in this package.

Hi, there's dedicated server security checklist that I like a lot, you may tick what's been done if you want to provide the max security to your server.

But I guess if you oirder a managed dedicated hosting solution from your provider, sercurity is one of the administration issues that should be provided by the host. 24x7x365 monitoring and free security patches. I guess that firewalls are a must that should ber provided by a hosting provider.
