Default Easy ways of improving the performance of your website

It is always important to have a well performing website. Consider the ways mentioned below for ensuring efficient performance of your website.

1. Minimize the HTTP records. This can be done through image maps and CSS sprites
2. Reduce the java script and CSS documents; this step will reduce the size of the downloaded files and this has a direct effect on the response time of your website
3. Compress. Compressing helps in terms of decreasing the response time of a website by reducing the size of HTTO responses

Media files also plays an important role for your website performance. Try to use compressed image/video files which will help to load your website faster. CSS helps to reduce code size hence performance of your website.

The information mentioned above is surely helpful in terms of increasing the loading speed of the web pages. However there is one more effective way that helps for loading the pages faster – that is moving the stylesheets to the document head. Putting stylesheets in the head enables enables the pages to render progressively. Therefore the pages get loaded faster.

There are multiple areas where you can improve the website performances this could be as follows
#) Make sure your website don't have unwanted data on there web hosting account.
#) Use simple coding structure without multiple loops, that will help to load the website much faster.
#) If you are using any content management system with plug ins, make sure you are not going to use plugin which are not in used till date.

The performance of any website depends on the content of the web pages and if that content is properly supported with the resources of the web hosting plan. If the website contains, videos, animations or heavy images, it is important to ensure that there web hosting plan provides with the necessary resources for supporting them so that the web pages load quickly. Moreover the speed of the website also depends on the internet connection used by the user.
