Default Webhosting UK Payment Gateway.

I see that you accept PayPal. I do not have any PayPal account and it asks for the account details. What can I do? How do I pay? Is it necessary to have a PayPal account?

Thank you

It isn't necessary. You can pay via bank transfer if you wish

You can also pay webhosting fees through credit card or money bookers.

Erm... I think I word it wrong or I was unable to put it in words. Let me re-frame my question.

I am aware of the Payment gateways that you accept. I want to know that when I select PayPal as a payment gateway, it asks me if I have a PayPal account which I don't have. So the question is:-

How can I continue with PayPal or pay using PayPal without having an account for it?

When you fill the form required for creating an account with us and select Paypal as payment gateway, you will be redirected to our Client area and then Paypal. Once you are on the Paypal site, you will see a message something like "Do you have a Paypal account ?" and the options given will be Yes or No.

If you do not have a Paypal account, you can select No and then you will have to create an account with Paypal. When you will go from the Client area to Paypal site, most of the details will be filled automatically as you have created an account with us and you will only have to enter some details Once you have filled the required details, your account will be created and then you can proceed with the payment

Hi Samuel

Might I suggest (if you have not already signed up with PayPal) is perhaps use Google Checkout - I use both but Google Checkout works well too, but again, you will need to input your card details whichever one you use

As long as you have https:// in your browser bar and a padlock symbol you will be in a secure payment gateway whichever one you use

Thank you MrTWS,
Thank you for your suggestion. I heard that Google CheckOut takes minutes and in some cases hours to clear the payment. It is really not good because even after you have paid, you need to wait for minutes just waiting for payment to be cleared. Whereas, I heard that PayPal hardly takes a minute to clear the payment. This is the reason I was looking for PayPal. Let me think over it and make me decision. I'll shortly decide and get a hosting plan for myself.

Thanks all!

Google Checkout takes 15 minutes to clear the payment, the reason for this is so that you can cancel the payment within the 15 minutes incase you change your mind or pay the wrong amount / ordered the wrong item, etc

Hi Samuel, I suggest that you should make a paypal account. That's free no charge.. You can also send payment and received from it..
