I refuse to email the email addresses on the website a i am sick of the same old replies, and also sick of phoning up and talking to someone in india.

Come someone who lives in the UK and works in the UK please email me about my account.

Hello David,

Load is divided between India and the UK. I would like to reassure you though that nothing is outsourced. All employees are direct with us. We have our own owned office in India.

Between UK office hours you will be able to speak with someone in the UK. As work allows, sometimes this will be available in off peak hours. Live chat is also divided between the UK and India. There isn't a difference in terms of the support level offered.

HI,

Thank you very much for taking the time to reply, thats great. I appreciate every company has a high level of support requests so sometimes feel they can offload some of it to India to relieve the pressure esp in off peak hours.

I'm guessing that the guy who started this thread was just unfortunate that he caught several India guys who were not quite up to scratch or in training?

Is it correct though that as your live chat said , dedicated and semi dedicated servers are totally uk supported and no chance at all of getting india 24/7. And is it planned to stay this way or eventually cut costs and make more profit by growing the india side of the business?

I'm probably being over cautious but we have worked hard here to build up the hosting side of the business and so any other companies have gone the india route that we have to be sure Web Hosting UK are as great in 2 or 3 years time as they seem to be today

I just want someone to say to me, at 2am when your server is playing up, you wont get someone who struggles to understand any questions which do not appear in the multiple choices on his screen!

No jobs will be lost in the UK in order to be replaced in India.

In fact I have a vacancy on the job centre website at the moment. Directgov jobs and skills search - Job details

No, it's not entirely true what you were told on LiveChat. I'm not sure why one or two staff members insist on saying that. To be honest, if I personally had a problem with a Semi Dedicated or Dedicated, my first call would be two different guys in the India office.

Lies are not good...

We'll sleep on it. Great to know if we did suffer any bad support or problems we could contact you and get some ass kicked

p.s. sounds like a couple of your best guys are in india!

I would have to measure a company by response and help, rather than their staff location. Now whether that be here in the UK, or India, or the North Pole, as long as it didn't:

(a) cost me a fortune to speak to them
(b) I felt that they were trying their best to sort out any issues
(c) any issues were sorted out reasonably quickly

I hosted with one of the largest worldwide hosts before finding Webhosting UK and another hosting provider too, and for me, big is not always best as that usually means they are garbage

If you have such a big hosting business, then obviously you want to be sure of minimal disruptions, and I believe that Webhosting UK can offer you the better of the deals, but then that would be up to you
