Buying an additional IP address

Hi

There now follows some silly nooby questions by a non-webmaster. I just own my website but don't administer/webmaster it.

I may need to buy an additional IP address for a small website a business colleague of mine needs setting up.

I gather from the prices on the FAQ page here that an additional IP is £20/annum which seems fair enough.

How quick a process is this?

I pays my money, get the IP address, and that's pretty much it?

Then after that it's up to my webguy how long stuff takes.

Indeed, you are correct. The IP will be assigned to your Account / Server, usually within 24 hours of payment
