Default [CPanel] IP Check

Hey again.

I've just gone through months and months of spam, to find that some of my site email has ended up in the spam bucket.

One of the emails I have found one with the subject "[ipcheck] Problems with dns setup on server.myschievoussouls.com". I am curious, because my site has been unavaliable for the past few days. And I was wondering if this had anything to do with it?

Thank you for your help and time.

I randomly recieve these, even from a VPS that is apparently non-existant.

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (**********) resolves to **.**.**.**. It should resolve to **.**.**.**. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
believe everything else is correct.

You may be able to
automaticly correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager
Try and follow the bottom part, where it instructs you to add an A entry for the hostname or try changing the hostname

Unfortunately, I can't access my Web Host Manager. But, thank you Dan for your reply.

http://www.hcidata.info/host2ip.cgi

Use that to find the IP address of your VPS, then use the following URL:

http://000.000.000.000:2086 obviously using your IP address rather than 000.000.000.000 and you should be able to login and fix the issue

Either that or contact livesupport
