Quote:
Hello,

The mails are rejecting because the senders domain is listed in spamhouse and not because spam assassin. We cannot change settings on shared server to accept mails from the domains/IP's listed in spamhouse as already explained by Alex P.
Following are the logs for rejection.

You can go to VPS plan and disable RBL check for emails.

Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

YOU'RE NOT LISTENING ARE YOU!!!!

I KNOW you are deleting emails that are RBLD - I'M FINE WITH THAT OK????
I KNOW you are deleting emails that score > 15 - I'M FINE WITH THAT OK????

WHERE ARE THE EMAILS BETWEEN 5 and 15 and WHY AREN'T THEY IN MY SPAN@DOMAIN.C0.uk account like they always used to be both here and with my previous ISPS.

Is my question so IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND?????

Sorry to shout but this is getting rather unfunny now

Hi Pommie.
I understand your question regarding the spamassassin scores between (> 5 &< 15) and hope you get an answer. My fear is that the answer isn't going to help you much. My 2 cents worth if I may.

As mentioned previously I think spam assassin shouldn't really be playing a part in your online form. Your form needs to be sent by you, to you. Or more accurately it is sent from the server where your form resides to a fixed address you specify.

I think trying to block spam by using the address of the person who filled in the form in the header is always going to create problems for you.

I think much better to use a captcha to stop spam and add filters for the message body if needs be, but am sure you will find that this way proves to be a better option. I use a simple self written captcha and phpmailer, doesn't cost anything and fairly straight forward to implement

Good luck seeking the answer to your easy to understand question!

I think I may have ended up confusing the issue becaue it turns out that there were 2 different problems - one (nor resolved I think and hope) as to why people with hotmail addresses couldn't submit my forms.

The other why my spam between 5 and 15 is missing. The second issue is very much alive and still in need of a solution, so I'll look forward to hearing what support and administrator here have to say on the subject

Can I just confirm that you dont have both box trapper and spamassasin running at the same time?

Depend who you mean by me

Someone (I presume in support) changed my settings so that box trapper was running on my spam@domain.co.uk account.

Whilst that was an odd thing to do, and I have reset it as they haven't told me WHY they did it, it did at least bring to my attention the fact that mail >5 and < 15 WAS being sent to my account

I am still waiting to find out why it's not being redirected to my spam account

WHUK - any ideas? .....

well I am in agreement with jon.

I think you should revisit your forms so that its sends from your own address.
Possibly by using that software or similar I sent. Turn off spam assasin and and rules and filters you currently have and use something along the lines of www.spamarrest.com or the other one I sent you.

Thanks

But I'd really be quite happy if WHUK could just get back to directing my >5 <15 spam to my spam account as requested by me.

I honestly don't see the need for anything more complicated here and I used to be quite happy with the way things were.

I have requested one of our senior technical staff member to look into this. He will reply to your ticket once this has been sorted.

OK Thanks

I'm not trying to start a war here - I just want my spam back (seems like a peculiar request when put like that but I hope you can see what I mean)
