As nobody has replied to this issue via the ticketing system, I'd appreciatre it if we could have a comment here.
Do WHUK think it's normal that no email scoring >5 and <15 has hit any of my accounts? BTW I HATE being the difficult guy but this is really starting to be unfunny! |

Yes
![]() I've made some changes in exim configuration file. Please check and let me know if you have started receiving emails with spam score above 5. You can send few emails from other email addresses with words like Cia**s, Via**a to increase spam score of your emails ![]()

hmmm. it should have worked immediately.
can you update the ticket with details of sender email address ? I will check logs on the server and find out some details to get this sorted.

If possible, please remove existing mailer of your form. I'm not able to search anything from logs as the list never ends when searched for incoming emails on your domain name. I will need to perform specific search which will be limited to the sender email address on a specific email address o your domain.

I hope you understand why I CAN'T remove the mailer
I have already lost a valuable Xmas booking as the email never made it!!! I'll try to find the time to replace the script as soon as I can Edit - bit of lateral thinking - I've renamed it so assuming the spammers have latched on to the original filename that should give a bit of breathing space Can I assume that everyone else is getting emails > 5 < 15? You will get only 1 option at a time. Either enable header retag for the spams or get those sent to the spambox. You cannot enable both same time.

What do you mean enable header retag - that option is not shown in my spam assassin configuration page - is it what happens if you (as I have ) turn spam folder to off? |

I wonder - is there a simple answer to the question
"Should I expect to get email scoring between 5 and 15 in my spam @domain.co.uk email account if I have spam assassin turned on I have spam folder disabled I have a rule that says move spam > 5 to that account WHUL say they delete spam > 15 Seems very straight forward to me but the I obviuosly don't understand a lt of what goes on "under the hood" Admin - can you explain why my expectation is unreasonable? I still have NO spam email in my spam@domain.co.uk account. Would you please either confirm that that this is expected or that something is wrong. |

And just received this in my normal account
X-Spam-Status: No, score=0.9 X-Spam-Score: 9 X-Spam-Bar: / X-Spam-Flag: NO Can I please confirm that the score used in filtering is therefore the score of .9 and not the X-Spam_score of 9? See why I am easily confused ![]() |

I can tell from the email shown below that email with a score of > 5 and < 15 IS actually hitting my account. It seems it is being correctly tagged as spam with +'s in the headers(Looks from this like support have enabled box trapper on my spam@domain.co.uk account)
Can someone from WHUK please confirm that with the settings on my account as they are (without the box trapper) then this email SHOULD be getting through to my spam@domain.co.uk account? (It still isn't BTW) If the settings are incorrect can you please tell me what I have to change? If it is not in fact possible to have spam >5 < 15 redirected when hosted via WHUK then please just let me know so I can stop wasting your time and mine. Quote:
