Just wondering why my vps would be cloned? Is this a back-up thing?

It was just a part of our VPS administration stuffs and was sorted out. Your VPS must be running fine.

We have scheduled weekly backups which makes clone of each VPS on our backup servers

We have nothing to do with your data as only important thing for us is your VPS which should be easily recoverable if the main node goes down or something goes wrong with drives.

No one else can manage to clone your VPS
