Reverse DNS...?
Hi again!
It's an email related problem, with other email services (Hotmail, Yahoo etc) not accepting emails from my site.
I've read up a little about it, and there has been mention of Reverse DNS.
How would I go about setting this up?
Thanks.

Thank you Admin. As of right now, the emails are going through to both Hotmail and Yahoo.
Could you enlighten me on what the problem was? I am curious.
You may here this alot, but
Thank you.

Edit: It seems to be sending the emails to Hotmail, but Yahoo isn't being as cooperative.

Hi Mys,
Sounds like Yahoo spam blocking at its worst. Myself and many others have had this problem.
Check your junk/spam box on yahoo and if the email is there add it to your trusted list. This will then filter through the yahoo servers and you should have no more problems sending email to any yahoo accounts.
You will probably also find that AOL is a problem, their email filtering is a pain to overcome.
Also goto live support and ask them if they have setup spf for your domain. This also affects how certain mail servers treat your domain email

Thanks Mys
I did nothing else besides rDNS. I got rDNS setup from our VPS team and that has sorted your problem

I have the same problem - it is particularly annoying with relation to a holiday accommodation rental site I have windermerelodge.co.uk where loads of enquiries come from hotmail type addresses.
Could you work you magic for me too.
I know of loads of others who have the same issue via a holiday letting forum I am on
Is there an idiots guide for what to do about it anywhere?
Cheers
John
