Default New Linux VPS Starter package user.

Hi people,

Last night I purchased the linux vps starter package with cpanel for 20 quid a month. I chose to just change the nameservers for my domain that I purchased from somewhere else. I have changed those nameservers today and still waiting for them to update. Now I have two ips with this package. by default it looks like one ip has been assigned to vps.mydomainname.co.uk. the other ip is vacant as it seems to me.

So my query is how can i set up new email accounts via whm for my website. I currently use the ip address to get to the login screen which was provided to me via email.

I talked to live chat who said that i needed to setup a new account. When I did it asked whether i wanted to use a deicated ip and there was only one ip left?

So this must mean that there is all ready an account set up with the first ip being used. now how do i go about setting up emails on that account?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

If you ask LiveSupport to do this, i am sure they will do it for you.

LiveSupport will setup the nameservers for you so you can get your website up and running efficiently.

Hi Dilly,

WHM is used to create new domain accounts. If you wish to configure & create email accounts, you would first have to create domain names & then login to the control panel of the individual domain.

You may visit our technical support tutorials for WHM help at http://www.webhosting.uk.com/whm.php

Cpanel help is available at http://www.webhosting.uk.com/cpanel.php

You are welcome to visit our website & initiate a live help chat from http://www.webhosting.uk.com/.
