Default VPS DNS does not exist

Hi everyone, I am sure this is a really easy question and I am just missing something but I thought I would ask anyway, I have got a windows VPS which is all working great! I have got a few domains that I have pointed towards my IP address from a different server, but I am not looking at registering a new domain and setting it to my name server, which will have to be the standard one nsXXX.ukserverhosting.net as I did not register with a domain when I setup my account.

Anyway the point is that I am use to using Microsoft DNS which then has a list of my domains and lets me setup sub domains and things like that, but my VPS does not seem to have it and when I try to install it using the Manage my server thing it asks for the CD.

Is this how everyone else is managing their domains on their VPS or am I missing something?

Cheers,
Pete

Thumbs up

Hey,

No need to worry about it. We will upload i386 folder in your VPS so that you can install Microsoft DNS server. But, for that we need your VPS details. So please email to vps@webhosting.uk.com with all necessary details, we will quickly do it for you.
