Default Would like some straight answers to my questions

As a new user of your services, obviously I have had lots of questions as I add the wealth of domains I have.

The sooner I get the information I need the sooner I leave you guys alone, but will someone PLEASE explain :

My question is actually related to orders which would be held on the shared SSL. I have concerns as to the vunerability of folders using this method as whatever I create with my checkout script COULD be accessed by normal http (well if I can see it under http so can anyone) . The only way around this would be to htaccess the folder, WOULD THIS BE CORRECT???

My current host actually encrypts the data further when it gets to their secure server (this is also a completely seperate server from the website) so you can see my confusion.

Google is no help for individual hosting of SSL as each company deals with this in their own way - so please do not suggest going there again ( ), I am not an idiot, my questions are completely valid as not everyone runs their servers the same, if they did it would be easy to move all 40 odd of my accounts.

I suspect that the problems I am having are due to a language barrier - you do not seem to always understand my terminology.

your orders or any of the information submitted by your customers wont go in http accessible files. Information included by customers goes in the database and there's no direct connection available for databases on the server so no one can retrieve that data without your consent.

Your customers need https:// connection only when they are submitting their forms as the information submitted by them travels on web at that time and https:// connection helps you to prevent any sort of data hijacking in that process.

- it is a custom written checkout script.

So where should I send the orders? Is there a place they can be stored?
