Hi,
I have a problem sending email to AOL because I don't have a reverse DNS entry for my mail because... "Reverse DNS lookup for your IP address is failing. AOL does require that all connecting Mail Transfer Agents have established reverse DNS." So I added a primary reverse lookup zone, and added the correct PTR records, and restarted the SMTP service, but the problem still exists. After investigating it looks like my SMTP connector DNS is pointing to 87.117.196.200 which resolves to ns2.externalresolver.rapidswitch.com I think the reverse DNS entry for my IP address needs adding to 87.117.196.200 Does that make sense? Thanks |
