Default vps move

A query,

If our vps moved to another vps and i was given new ip addresses, how come the web sites still point to the old ip?
I am a bit confused by this. it isn't causing problems but thought the domains would reside at the new ip addresses.
new ~ 87.117.246.169
old addy and sites still ping at these addresses ~ 87.117.236.56

IP addresses must have been moved on Virtuozzo node for you. Moving IPs is much easier to prevent any sort of downtime due to DDNS errors.

It isn't right!

First of all though it does prove a point. New whm I have no problems logging in and quite fast as well. Old whm on old ip I am still able to login too (now and again cos it is extremely slow). Goes to show it is nothing at my end. I don't understand why I can still loginto this ip???

Problem is, new whm can't do anything with it! I said there was no problem but I hadn't tried changing anything. Trying to add a new account, says it is created but isn't listed, no email, no nothing. drop down menu to assign ip only lists one!

Surely it isn't right that i am given 4 ip addresses?

Any chance you can sort it admin? I know you are going to say use a support ticket, but really not sure how to explain it all to them.

Admin, I don't get a reply so ask support, then given a ultimatum to sort my side out in 24Hrs ??? as they are going to cut my old vps.... SORT WHAT OUT?? I explain to them that i only supply nameserver names to my registrars so surely nothing changes!!!
FINALLY, they cut the old vps (after I demand they do) and finally my doamins now reside at the new address. WHY is everything done in halves? half measures!
Why can't I understand a word support say? Can can they not treat me as a novice? (which I am), it would be much easier.

I really want another vps but I really am not sure I want it here, it is too much hassle.

I appreciate the virtuozzo but what price to pay!

I have no problem if you open a ticket in my department ( Sales Department ). We've had harsh words today with our VPS support team as recently they have ignored our DNS policies and dumb questions were asked to some customers in reply to their tickets. I can assure you that you will get better replies from tomorrow and if not then get back to me with the ticket numbers. That will help me to weed out those who are in comfort zone.

They have sorted my emails out, which is great.
They are still working on why i can't add any new domains.

I have lost ALL the work i have done on ALL my sites sinse the virtuozzo move, i really wish they had given me more info and just moved me, rather than keeping both ip sets active. I understand (i think) that they did this for my benefit, but to not inform me that any updates to my sites during this 'changover' would be pointless is very annoying.

Can i ask, what is your name Admin? very impersonal is 'admin', or maybe you are a few people using the same login???
I would like to know so iu can speak to you though support if problems persist
