Due to the subject matter of your forum I think you're going to struggle a bit to attract members. It's not a forum about anything specific. People tend to go to forums to talk about one subject.

It's not a criticism by the way, it's constructive comment, and I wish you all the luck with it.

When you start a new forum you need a good number of posts in the forum to attract new visitors to signup and post. You have added posts but you added all those from a single username and that looks really bad.

Add some posts with different usernames and then get started with promotion of your forum. You should go in different forums all over the web and add posts on those forums with link to your forum in your signature. Also add some articles in different blogs and mention URL to your forum as the reference of the matter.

This are some basic methods but many more new things can be done for promotion of your forum.
