Personally i think the grey one looks more suitable. The blue is too bright for my liking

I prefer the one on the forum

But if I have to choose between the other 2 then I prefer the blue one with the Xmas tree - but only up to Xmas day !!! the other one is too dark so the woman stands out too much. At least the other one has more to look at than just 2 women.

Why oh Why do you men always put women on these things - almost every computer mag has a woman on the front - WHAT has that to do with computers

Xmas is Jesus or Santa - both men - so why but a busty blond in the middle of it

That is why I prefer the one with Santa

haha. Men like to see a beautiful face on websites, magazines, newspapers and even on private things. Men will never change but one can keep on changing faces on website to make them visit your website regularly.

Godaddy has different model on their website every other month and many people visit Godaddy just to check if they have any new model in their banner. Men can never change and its not worth to waste time in changing them

And who said men should get what they want all the time.

You speak as if only men ever visit these websites. I'm not saying I want nude men with their bits hanging out all over your website - but perhaps if you want an Xmas theme then stick to a Xmas theme and don't just put a Santa hat on a busty blond !!!

When Google were putting a different logo up every day during the Olympics, I visited every day to see what was there - and not a single busty blond in sight !!!

When are you actually going to get into the 21st Century and realise that putting women on covers and home pages is so very 1990's. You risk alienating 50% of surfers.

I can't speak for all women and certainly would not want to, but this woman doesn't like it.

Personally I agree with Cassie. We've unfortunately had the odd sexist thread on this forum and there's no need to compound the problem.

I've only just looked at it - not to my taste and I think Cassie has a good point.

Getting off the blond (which should go) and getting back to the design - It is a little annoying (looking at it as a new customer would) that there is a big bit in the header about "Free Domain Name" but then this isn't mentioned at all on the rest of the page. There isn't even a link in the header to more about it.

Nothing wrong with the 'blond' imo , how could anyone call it sexist? not that anyone did of course

I'd call it sexist Jon. How could it not be considered so? It's a straight-out perpetuation of the idea that 'sex sells'. The purpose of the image is to add nothing more than some, supposed, mild titillation.

Without trying to get too po-faced about it I'm never sure what this sort of image is supposed to say. Is the site trying to imply that if you sign up for a hosting package scantily clad women will find you attractive? Or is trying to appeal to scantily clad women?

Overall isn't it more likely that a potential customer will take one look, assume it's an amateurish, and mildly offensive, attempt at Web design and bugger off.
Admittedly that is fairly unlikely to happen but I'd argue that its still more likely than a potential customer thinking "Phwoar I'm signing up with these blokes because they hang around with girls like her".
