Default Audioporned Review

Its only been up about a week but I would like a few comments please. The site was designed with Firefox in mind.

audioporned.co.uk

And i'm not sure if anyone can help here, but whenever I view my site in IE all the text is centered on the pages when it actually shouldn't be. Any ideas what's wrong?

Good design......

Regarding IE problem :
I think you have to create an IE compatible CSS and include it in your template so that it will have same look and feel as that of firefox.

Thank you Harry, i'll look into that to see if i can source the problem.

Hello Alan, thanks for the reply. The problem I seem to be having is that all the text is centered on pretty much all the pages when viewed in IE. Where as (as designed) the text is almost always left aligned in Firefox.

If you check this page: audioporned.co.uk/index.php

You will see in Firefox that the text is left aligned, where as in IE its all centered.

Hard to see what's causing the problem in IE. IMHO Joomla creates some bloody awful mark-up which doesn't help.

Other than that the site is generally ok. You might want the background of the main panels to have a higher contrast (white I suppose) than the page background and the minimum-height property available in FF etc and IE from version 7 might help top even out some of the height differences between the main content and the left hand menu.

Check if you can do something better from background and color combination side as due to dark shed lying on left side it is difficult to read the text at the best of times.

I have had that problem with centering on IE7 on my cms, which was due to setting div container margins to auto, and text-align to centre (which is how to get the 800 x 600 aligning in the centre).
The simplest way around it for me was to set the text align to left rather than not set at all which i assume is what is happenning in Joomla ??

You're a complete star jon..

I've just had a quick go at what you suggested and it worked like a charm.
