Default In WHM shall I use www. or not?

Hi,

I want to set up a new domain in whm, shall I use www. or not?
Does it make any difference ?

You should not use www. if you use www. then your domain will appear as <b>www.www(dot)yourdomain.com</b>

www. is a CNAME for your main domain name and when you add a account from your WHM then a CNAME record is added by default. You dont need to setup your account with WWW as the CNAME record takes care of www.

The example given by Nik is a great example to consider.

And admin made it more clear by explaining it further.
