Yes. There is a backup tool in your control panel which gives you option to download full backup of your account on your local computer or ftp space or your account itself.

This is a great tool for customers coming to webhosting.uk.com as this helps them to get their backups transferred from their previous hosting companies

It is always recommended to keep backup of our data. As a webmaster you should take care of this.
There is a feature called backups in cpanel which is used to take backups of sites.
There are sub-options such as taking full-backup or backup of only homedirectory or backup only databases.

You can also setup cpanel cron job for doing such backup regularly at specific time interval.

Great tool over here.

Although in which format does it backup?

Is it possible to restore the data without the help of cpanel?

And also does it help to restore section by section, I mean partial restoration?

Sorry for asking too many questions, it would be great to know in advance.
