Default Linux VPS Hosting or Windows VPS Hosting

Hello,

The demand of VPS is rapidly increasing so which OS do you think is more requested by the customers for the VPS?

Default Linux

No doubt,Linux with cPanel.
It really depends on what kind of service you are offering. Free hosts generally go with Linux. Paid hosts need to provide service according to the market/customer requirements.
Windows hosting is growing faster, but Linux is still the BOSS when it comes to hosting business.

Yes Mark, It's true the popularity of VPS is growing day by day may be because services offered by some companies are performing just like dedicated servers. Of course Webhosting UK is one of them. And as Rodney says there is no other combination like Linux with cPanel.

Although Windows hosting packages also offer many benefits, but Linux beats them in security standards, up time, quick rebooting etc.

As we all know that the market of vps is rapidly growing specially Linux VPS and also Windows VPS to some extent.

Yep, you are right sanderson Webhosting UK provides great support and services and I think like other hosting companies Webhosting UK should also start offering VPS.
What you guys think?

Going linux means choosing your OS from different flavors that inhabit the Linux ecosystem, that seems little difficult. No doubt as said here linux is best choice for hosting but it is pretty wasteland when it comes for gaming IMO.

Doesn't matter when. But I do agree that plans seems to be very competitive. Very good package per month compare to the quality service.

It’s because of the complexity of Windows OS that Linux is much into demand if compared and customers choose Linux for its user easiness.

And yea the VPS plans from webhosting uk seems to be very exciting and ready for action.
