IMO forum should be used for general and technical discussion rather than making it a place for fixing issues, as a good host you should always provide some fast and easy way of communication for your clients for their issues....

Community forums also helps a webhosting company to communicate better with their clients. Common notifications, announcements & other issues just have to be posted on the forum & it reaches almost everyone.
Forums also help to create a certain image for the hosting provider. If your clients are in general satisfied with the service & support provided, it reflects in a healthy manner on the forums. If there are constant niggles & issues, it shows on the forums again! |
