I Hope you can help me today.

My client has registered his domain name with 123-reg but im not sure if they will host his online store.

He has a website selling adult toys & lingerie.

Does anyone know if they allow this type of content to be hosted?

If not, can anyone point me in the direction of a good, cheap hosting company that will.

As long as your content is legal Webhosting.uk.com is happy to host your adult content website and you have to hold copyright releases to all information, including model releases. Pornography or sexually-explicit images of children or any pictures videos is prohibited on all our servers.

the site wouldnt have any links to pornographic material, but it would be selling merchandise simliar to anne summers.

I think you can get hosted in webhosting.uk.com easily since I hope you are not dealing with any hardcore illegal adult content, I am sure for adult toys and lingerie James should have not problem to get you in. So have a look up on their page and sign up.

Hi, can anyone explain the difference between legal and illegal adult content? the borderline seems to be somehow vague.

Legal Adult content means you should hold the copyright releases to all the information, including the images, videos. It wont be a problem if you don’t hold Copyright tags for the content but you need to ensure that you don’t copy content or images from any other copyrighted website nor you should display child pornographic content on your website. You should also ensure that you follow our No Spam Policies as any sort of activity that may result into problems for other customers will result in problems for your website. If we get any complaint or notification of copyright infringement or illegal/stollen content then you will be asked to remove the abusive content or take your website(s) elsewhere.
