Default Website monitoring tools

I use the free service of Siteuptime to monitor my websites. It can only perform limited monitoring tasks since I availed of the free service. Is there a similar site which can be tapped for web site uptime monitoring?

First you should check their uptime and then use them to monitor uptime of your website. If their uptime is below 99.95%then you cannot expect them to show more than 99.95% uptime for your website.

I think many web hosting companies offer web site monitoring services. It includes into their package plans.

websitepulse.com
alertra.com are two more uptime monitoring services you may want to check.

I read on websitepulse.com they have a few partners to coordinate the process of monitoring, so they get data from different centers and you get the average result test.

There are many site monitoring tools available but no one guarantees the accuracy and this tools are not always correct so you should not completely rely on them and its better to go for FREE site monitoring tools.

How about siteuptime.com/ . I am using it for a long time, it is the best free on I ever seen, their paid service is far better. However free one monitor only with 30 min difference.
