Default Web Hosting Support or Cheap hosting prices

What do clients look for in a webhosting package? Do they go for price or support?

Some look for price some look for support. I would say good support is more important than competitive pricing. Support is very important when something goes wrong or you need help with something regarding your cpanel hosting account. Good support is really worth a few $'s extra.

Those clients who are new to this field may focus on price. But most clients who are established and mean serious business would certainly opt for quick and efficient support. It also depends on the size of their existing business and their targets for the furure.

Basically it depeds upon the budget of a client, I find most of the ppl who are very new in business and very poorly funded or having low budget looks for cheaper price on first priority.

I'll definately go for support as it's the key to a hosting business. Good support ensures customer satisfaction. If a customer is satisfied and happy with the service he may spread the word-of-mouth in your favour.

All of us will answer support bcoz we all know its importance but when it comes to price many clients have to compromise, its not possible for the newbie to invest much in the beginning so priority should be given to the price.

This is the general tendency of ppl that they want quality support but they don't want to pay for it, quality has some hidden cost which make it little bit costly, now it is upto you do you need excellent service and support paying little more or compromise with poor support or going with something middle way between two extremes.

Support, but just having support available isn't good enough. What is paramount is the time to fix, which sometimes leaves alot to be desired.

I'd say support, without good support no one can survive here.

I think the no. of people who look for price easily outnumber the people who look for good support at extra cost as price is a big constraint for a lot of clients in hosting business.

Well I know that I look for for support but at an okay price. I need support in case my site goes down or if I need something done. So I think I would pay a bit more for great support.

Certaintly the Support should be considered as the key factor which can influence the buyer. Price should be secondary since your business depends upon support, service and good connectivity, so your 1st priority should revolve around this.
