Hello,

Just go through these Checks for newly created website.

* Is your website have unique content as we know : " content is king "
* Is the design consistent? All your pages should follow some basic pattern or format and look similar.
* Is your site easy to navigate?
* Do your website's pages load fast?
* Are your forms working? Did you check every part of your forms ?
* Did you view your pages with popular browsers, platforms (PC and Mac), screen resolutions, and settings?
* Do you provide contact information on every page or do you have a link to a contact page ? How easy it is
to Contact you.
* Did you verify that all graphics show up and all links working?

Interesting list.

My own would be:
  • check all internal and external links are valid
  • check code validates and meets accesssibility requirements
  • test for browser compatability before upload and then again once the site is live
  • check the client is happy
  • check the invoice is for the right number of billable hours

I would say that Satisfaction of the visitors is most important. If someone feels satisifed after visiting your website then he or she would like to visit your website again and again. Happy customers is the key to success for a ecommerce website.

It would be nice to have user feedback from a control/test group before you put a site live but I can't say I've ever seen it happen. It's a good thing to do after the site has been running for a trial period though - even if it just means analysing the server logs.

Spelling and grammatical errors in the content
User friendly navigation
Dead links
Distorted images
Invalid code.

Yeah, Administrator is right, you need some motivational factor for encouraging your visitors and customers for repeat visit , customer satisfaction plays great role for retaining your customers.

Customer satisfaction is the key to good & progressive business, so I would suggest whenever you make a new design or new web look ask for comments from your clients or your customers are they are the most valuable part of your business.
