Default Web Site Hits

I'd like to work out how many hits my web site gets (per day, weeek, month etc).

I've looked around Plesk and found traffic info, but there is nothing
that I can see about site hits.

Is this possible?

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

There is an option in your plesk control panel to check webstats. You have awstats as well as webalizer available in the plesk control panel. Please contact our livechat support if you find it difficult to locate the statistics section in your control panel.

Make sure you have a good read of what's what on web stats.

A lot of people confuse visits with hits and overestimate their popularity. A hit is any file that needs to be loaded to see the page. eg if your page is made up of 10 images and files (html and css) and 2 people visit it, you will get 20 hits. Many think they have 20 people 'hitting' the page, when in fact it would only be 2.

That is very true, it always better to have a look at " Number of visits " rather then hits for your website to get traffic stats. Awstats is most popular tool for getting your website traffic details.
