Messageboard

For the last year I've been running a YABB messageboard on my website - it was installed via the control panel if I remember, and has worked very well for me. Last week it stopped working and I have been told by Webhosting that it's because it used FP Extensions and that they have now been removed.

Does anyone know of another free Messageboard that doesn't carry adverts?

Hi, phpBB, SMF are 2 free forums that spring to mind. Both also have converters so you can copy your yabb users and data over to your new forum.
But before you install one, double check that the converter IS available.

Thanks for that nJon. I found and installed the SMF one last night but unfortunately only just read your reply so I had deleted my old Yabb one with all the data. Thankfully it was just a Forum for a Rugby Club so there wasn't particularly any valuable data. Thanks again.
