Anyone use the Lightbox to overlay images?
Since Javascript isn't my forte I am wondering if anyone has been able to add a views counter to the overlaid image.
It seems searching via google doesn't help so wondering if it is indeed possible

It's possible, I've seen many sites do this before but I can't find how to do it either.

I've installed lightbox before. Really easy and looks very professional.
I've never tried to add a counter though.

I'm still searching and found a couple that worked on the old version, but none on V2.

I can understand the problem in trying to get the client side scripting language (js) var over to the server side language (in my case php), but am sure it is possible.

I would suggest to try out fancybox which is based on jQuery, best for automatic image fit, drop shadow, image sets, work nice in most of the browsers.

thx Paul will try that if no success using Slimbox. Just testing it now
