Default Joomla component problem

Hi,

I have two domains just transferred over to webhosting uk dame-ni.org.uk and ballymenasilver.org.uk. Both of these are Joomla sites, but since I've moved to webhosting uk I can't use the administrator section to install a new component. It fails with the message that it can't create teh directory.

Can someone please help.

Thanks
Neil.

Hello Neil, We have mod_security setup on our servers which filters some executables run by Joomla as Joomla is badly coded CMS. You can request our Support staff to disable mod_security for your Joomla installation or you can add following code in your .htaccess residing in public_html to disable mod_security for your account. Please refer http://www.webhosting.uk.com/forums/...01&postcount=2 to know how to disable mod_security.
