UK postcode : Address look up

I am looking for an address finder for a shopping cart, you know the type 'enter postcode' then 'address lookup' which give you a list of houses on that postcode.

Are there any free db's or the like?

I don't know of any RELIABLE UK postcode finder scripts apart from the paid ones
allies-computing.co.uk I have heard are quite good. They offer a free trial so maybe worth trying it out for a while

Delboy, those lists are great but can only be used to find to town/district you live in, not specific street etc. Handy to have tho

thx for those. I have uploaded them to a database...just now need to try and find a reverse geocoder to change lat/long to street address. Found US ones but no UK...think maybe my first thoughts were right, Royal Mail seem to be the only ones with this info, but i haven't finished searching yet!
