Google Webmaster Central

Google have centralised their services for webmasters at google.com/webmasters - very handy.

It currently offers:

site status;

Webmaster tools;

submissions section;

a new Webmaster blog;

a discussion group; and

help centre.

Not all of the information is new but it is useful to have it all in one place. Looks like required reading for anyone involved in Web design, development or deployment.

Google sitemap also become Google Webmaster Central as it has different features that help for different information, statistics, reports and tools to help webmasters.

Sorry to dig up this old one but is there any way to get google to remember the site verification.

Everytime I go back to see what's going on it's forgotten and I have to go through all this file/meta upload business again.
