Default Encrypting source code

Is it possible to encryp my source code, so that one can only use script and cannot modify it.

I am using php scripts.

It's possible but if you are only installing it on your own server why would you need to?

I am not installing on my server. I am selling it without resell rights to customer. I am doing setup on their own server thats why I need it.
