I'm planning on establishing a small business forum and am experiencing some difficulty deciding on a domain name.
My preference is for a two word .com. Unfortunately it's proving difficult to find a suitable one. The choices I have are using one of the following; 1. a very good two word combination .org, .info or .biz 2. an excellent 3 word combination .net - 17 characters 3. a shorter .com with an acronym - but not a recognised acronym - eg BA for business advice 4. quite a long and OK 3 word .com - 18 characters 5. an OK (ie not completely relevant or easy word) 2 word .com 6. a hyphenated (-) domain 7. a short but completely meaningless .com eg jj4.com 8. a catchy but not very relevant .com eg momentsoftruth.com I want the domain to help with the SE ranking and promotion of my site. Any suggestions on which route would be most appropriate for building a site from scratch would be most appreciated. Hope this is not too confusing. Thanks, |
